NEWS

Glasgow St Patrick's Festival

The trio had a great time playing at the Glasgow St Patrick's Festival Open Stage this year.

We got some lovely shiny medals for winning, and will also be playing at the festival next year.

Mull of Kintyre Music festival

I had a wonderful time playing in the heritage centre in Campbeltown on the Saturday night with Lorne MaDougall and Suzanne Houston. I seen many wonderful acts over the weekend including, Eilean Mo Ghaoil (The music of Arran) and Gillian Frame and Padraig O'Neill. I also enjoyed singing at the survivors night concert alongside Arthur Johnstone and several others.

Schloss Hohenlimburg keltic festival

This year seen the very first year of this new festival in Hagen, Germany, set in the grounds of a beautiful castle. Myself and Kristan Harvey had a fabulous time playing to the wonderful audiences. I also really enjoyed singing with the Paul McKenna band, and we all had a lovely time while in Germany. So much so that I will be going back with a bigger band to perform again next year!!

Medusa

Making the EP was great fun and I really enjoyed it! I had a wonderful team with me during the process. I'd like to say a special thank you to everyone who played a part including: David McNee, Paul McKenna, Lorne MacDougall, Robyn Gray, Ewan Baird, Mohsen Amini, Martin Forry and everyone else who helped out.... (the chippy round the corner also deserves a mention)

Moniaive folk festival

This yearly festival in Dumfries an Galloway is set in a picturesque little villiage that reminds me a little of my home town, I even wrote a song about it. I've had many a great time in Moniaive and was happy to play in the garden of the old green tea rooms on a lovely sunny day this year with Robyn Gray and Paul McKenna. As ever we all had a fantastic time at the festival!!

Silent Night

I recently recorded a version of 'Silent Night' for a very worthy cause. It is now available for download at the link below. It is part of a 7 track EP which can be yours for as little as £2. All money raised goes straight to the Shelter charity. Please help us to raise money for this good cause and get yourself some great music too!

Thank you

"With her traditional Scottish folk style Linzi has drawn much critical acclaim amongst the traditional and folk music scene. And rightly so, her stripped back version of the classic 'Silent Night' showcases her vocal talent and natural guitar playing extremely well."

A' the airts Sanquhar

Myself and Paul McKenna done a spot at this lovely little venue down near Dumfries and Galloway.

It was a nice wee unplugged gig, and the acoustics were great. There was also some lovely art on display!!
